Trustees' Responsibilities. Three trustees comprise the township's
governing board. Each trustee is elected to a four-year term, and
their duties are outlined in the Ohio Revised Code. The township
trustees must adopt annual budgets based upon realistic revenue estimates,
formally approve all spending, and authorize the hiring of township
employees. Scheduled Trustees Meetings. Trustees meet normally on the first
Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm in the township hall, which is located
at 6900 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio. All meetings are open to
the public. |
Fiscal Officer

| Fiscal Officers Responsibilities. The Fiscal
Officer is the township's chief financial officer. The Fiscal
Officer is elected to a four-year term and his/her responsibilities and
powers, as outlined in the Ohio Revised Code, are independent of those of
the Board of Trustees. The Fiscal Officer collects and deposits all
receipts, disburses properly approved expenses, invests funds as
authorized by the trustees, and prepares annual financial reports.
The Ohio Auditor of State's Office audits the township's books and records
every two years. |

| Township Administrators Responsibilities: Include such task as assisting in the policies and resolutions of the trustees, informing the trustees of financial conditions, preparing the budget, and recommending measures as instructed by the trustees. The administrator also handles all correspondence prepares the agenda and activity reports for meetings and must be proficient with the township computer system. Additionally he is the liaison between the township and the fire department, Fiscal Officer, road department and all insurance carriers |
