Responsibilities: The Fiscal Officer is the township's chief financial officer. The Fiscal Officer is elected to a four-year term and his/her responsibilities and powers, as outlined in the Ohio Revised Code, are independent of those of the Board of Trustees. The Ohio Auditor of State's Office audits the township's books and records every two years.
Township Administrators
Responsibilities: Include such tasks as assisting in the policies and resolutions of the trustees, informing the trustees of financial conditions, preparing the budget, and recommending measures as instructed by the trustees. The administrator also handles all correspondence, prepares the agenda and activity reports for meetings, and must be proficient with the township computer system.
