Trustee Meeting Minutes March 3, 2011
The Truro Township Trustees held a regular meeting March 3, 2011 at 6:00 pm at St. 161. Present were Trustee Pat Mahaffey, Barbara Strussion, Fiscal Officer Natalie Nicodemus, B.C. Hein, B.C. Kimble, B.C. Sharps, Chief Foltz, Trustee Dennis Nicodemus, Superintendent Stan Knoderer and B.C. Deaver. Administrator Bob Stapleton was absent.
The Meeting was called to order with the pledge and roll call.
Barbara Strussion moved to approve meeting minutes from February 3 meeting. Pat Mahaffey seconded motion. All voted yes.
Guest: John Hower from Rinehart – presenting Ohio Plan, Township Risk Insurance
Chief Foltz: Thank you to everyone who helped cover shifts at Violet Twp for Funeral.
Chief Hein: Medic that was in an accident is back in service.
Fire grant is still on hold.
Fire Prevention report: Stone Gate/Donley buildings inspected.
B.C. Sharps: 2011 protocol is still on hold waiting for addendum from pharmacy board for new drug protocol.
B.C. Kimble: Decided on tile flooring for bunk rooms at St. 162.
Decided on stainless steel countertop for kitchen at St. 162.
B.C. Deaver: Outsourcing server could cause more problems than good. We would still have to own software licenses and we would still need all of the equipment as well. Server is not the expensive part of running computers.
Superintendent Stan Knoderer report: 1 interment: Raymond Judson on February 22, 2011.
Kiosk from Reynoldsburg Parks and Recreation has been installed.
Holiday cleanup at cemetery has been completed.
Richard Radebaugh is coming back as summer time employee.
Fiscal Officer's report: Approved January 2011 bank reconciliation.
Pay Mahaffey moved to approve payroll of $254,246.76 and bills of $244,980.92 for February. Barbara Strussion seconded the motion. All voted yes.
Pat Mahaffey moved to authorize Fiscal Officer to pay the bills and payroll for March. Barbara Strussion seconded. All voted yes.
Pat Mahaffey made motion to move to executive session at 6:48.
Barb Strussion made motion to return to regular session at 7:15pm.
Pat Mahaffey made motion to adjourn at 7:30pm.
Next regular meeting will be Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 6:00pm at Station 161.
